GLNS advises Klaus and Thilo Proff on its participation in MAXIMUS FILM

The brothers Thilo Proff (50), media entrepreneur, former COO of Constantin Medien AG and former head of TV broadcaster ProSieben, and Klaus Proff (42), currently Senior Vice President Central Content Operations & Services at ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland, have become shareholders in Unterföhring-based film production company MAXIMUS FILM through their joint company KTP Management GmbH. Together with MAXIMUS FILM’s founder, Christian Schene (42), as of June 1, 2016, Thilo Proff is in charge of the management of one of Germany’s largest non-fiction production companies.

MAXIMUS FILM was founded in 2005. The production company with locations in Unterföhring and Leipzig currently has a workforce of 60 permanent employees and produces approximately 5,000 minutes per year for about 15 different formats and clients.

GLNS has advised KTP Management GmbH on all legal aspects of the transaction, in particular on the legal due diligence and the contract negotiations, through Dr. Daniel Gubitz (M&A/Corporate) and Julia Klesse (Corporate).
