GLNS advises Audi on the formation of a joint venture with Canadian con-sulting and marketing agency BIMM

The car manufacturer Audi and the Toronto-based consulting and marketing agency BIMM established the joint venture Audi RED (Rapid Experience Development), which will focus on the provision of digital strategy and development services.

Both companies bring their strengths to the joint venture: While Audi in particular contributes know-how from the automotive industry, BIMM brings IT and consulting experience. With the founding of the joint venture Audi and BIMM intend to expand their existing long-standing cooperation.

GLNS provided comprehensive advice on the establishment of the joint venture. The team included Dr. Tobias Nikoleyczik and Nadja Crombach (both Corporate). On the Canadian side, Audi was advised by Blakes, Cassels & Graydon LLP with seat in Toronto. Dentons advised on antitrust law.

GLNS regularly advises Audi on transactions. Most recently, the firm advised on the establishment of another joint venture with Lufthansa Industry Solutions and the entry of investors into the start-up MOBIKO, which was founded, among others, by Audi Business Innovations GmbH.
