GLNS advises Audi Business Innovation on the investment of Baloise Group and Startup Familiy Office in MOBIKO

The Swiss insurance group Baloise Group and the German investment company Startup Family Office have invested in MOBIKO. The Munich-based start-up was developed by Audi Business Innovation GmbH and spun out in 2018 together with company builder mantro.

MOBIKO provides a digital platform with which employers can manage the mobility of their employees, automatically bill them in a tax-compliant manner and incentivise sustainable mobility behaviour. Meanwhile, employees can use all available means of transport and mobility offers worldwide with MOBIKO – both for the way to work and for leisure time. This includes, for example, subscribing to a car or leasing a bicycle. In this way, companies can actively influence their CO2 emissions and save on mobility costs with MOBIKO.

With the new capital, MOBIKO wants to significantly expand its team, further develop the technology used and drive forward the scaling of the platform.

GLNS advised Audi Business Innovation GmbH on this transaction with Dr Tobias Nikoleyczik and Nadja Crombach. Dr Florian Wiesner of Dentons advised on antitrust issues. GLNS regularly advises Audi AG and Business Innovation GmbH on transactions and corporate law.
