GLNS advises EMERAM on its partnership with photovoltaic and charging infrastructure provider Adler Smart Solutions

The leading growth investor for medium-sized companies in German speaking countries EMERAM has entered into a partnership with ADLER Smart Solutions GmbH, a full-service provider for the development and implementation of photovoltaic and charging infrastructure projects.

Founder Tajo Adler will continue as CEO leading the company together with EMERAM.

Adler Smart Solutions, headquartered in Hamburg with offices in Dresden and Munich, employs about 100 people. The company specializes in complex large-scale projects and national rollouts and services for blue-chip clients in the area of photovoltaic and charging infrastructure. It offers clean energy consulting, project development as well as operations and maintenance solutions.

GLNS advised EMERAM on this transaction with Dr Ludger Schult, Eva-Maria Bayer, Jennifer Blümlein, Konrad Hildebrand (all M&A/Private Equity) and Andreas Scheidle (Tax).

In the areas of labour law, IP/IT and data protection GLNS was supported by the Hamburg law firm Leo Schmidt-Hollburg Witte & Frank (Dr Tom Frank, Dr Lars Behn, both labour law, Dr Hartwig Schmidt-Hollburg and Dr Stefan Hennigs both IP/IT/data protection). Dr Andreas Boos from the law firm Buntscheck advised on regulatory matters.

The agreement was notarized with notary public Eleonore Traugott, Munich.

Funds advised by EMERAM provide more than 500 million euros of capital for the development of growing companies.

GLNS has been advising EMERAM for more than ten years including, most recently, on its acquisition of online learning platform sofatutor.
