Munich-based multi-family holding Liberta Partners acquires e*Message Wireless Information Services Deutschland GmbH and e*Message Wireless Information Services France GmbH, based in Berlin and Paris. The acquisition is being made via Liberta Partners Fund II.
The e*Message Group has been operating the largest security radio network in Europe for almost 20 years. The satellite-based radio network with transmitting stations in Germany and France is independent of the public mobile radio networks. The e*Message Group offers special alerting and messaging services within the framework of time- and business-critical communication.
Past events such as the threats to homeland security, the increasing number of natural disasters or power outages of varying severity show how essential such a network is for professional alerting and secure mobile communication that is independent of cellular mobile radio.
With the acquisition of the e*Message Group, Liberta is investing in the expansion and strengthening of security communications for European SMEs and plans to further expand the product offering of both companies.
GLNS advises Liberta on the acquisition of the e*Messaging Group with Ferdinand Graf von Spreti (lead), Dr Daniel Gubitz (both private equity/M&A), Andreas Scheidle (tax) and Dr Anselm Lenhard (financing). In the area of antitrust law, GLNS works together with Dr Andreas Boos from the law firm Buntscheck.
