GLNS Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater has advised Munich-based COBY GmbH on a financing round structured as a convertible loan.

COBY is developing a screen-free, AI-powered companion for children, complemented by an app for parents. The concept is designed to provide children with a safe environment for independent interaction, while allowing parents to stay involved and set age-appropriate boundaries.

GLNS has advised COBY and its founder David since the company’s incorporation and has continued to support the team throughout its corporate and entrepreneurial development.

Effective August 1, 2025, GLNS has appointed Dr. Konrad Hildebrand as a partner in the areas of stock corporation/capital markets law and dispute resolution. With the addition of Dr. Hildebrand to the partnership, GLNS strengthens its expertise in complex business law disputes and strategically realigns the area of stock corporation and capital markets law with a forward-looking focus.

GLNS advised PCS PolymerCycle Solutions GmbH, a portfolio company of impact private equity fund Vidia Equity, in connection with the acquisition of Hoffmann u. Voss GmbH, a company specialized in plastics recycling that is based in Viersen (Germany).

Nagarro SE with its registered seat in Munich, Germany, has announced on 5 February 2025 a share buyback program to acquire treasury shares in a total volume of up to EUR 70 million. Listed and included in the SDAX and TecDAX, Nagarro SE is a leading global IT service provider in the areas of digital product development, digital commerce and customer experience, Big Data and AI services as well as consulting on latest generation ERP and managed services.

GLNS has advised the bidder Linus Holding GmbH and the private investor standing behind the bidder, Philipp Horsthemke, in connection with the mandatory takeover offer and delisting offer to the shareholders of Linus Digital Finance AG, Berlin (“Linus”).

GLNS advises CPTx GmbH in connection with USD 29 million funding by a group of diverse private and public investors.

GLNS advised impact private equity fund Vidia Equity on the acquisition of Best Plastic Management GmbH (BPM), a leading company in plastic recycling. BPM currently processes around 20,000 tons of post-industrial plastic waste per year – with Vidia’s support, this capacity is set to increase to up to 60,000 tons. The expansion will result in significant CO₂ savings and make a substantial contribution to the transition toward a net-zero economy. GLNS provided comprehensive advice to Vidia on this transaction with a team led by Georg Lindner, Dr. Patrick Droese, Dr. Anselm Lenhard, Philip Büchler and Nicholas Schildhauer.

GLNS advises PolymerCycle GmbH, a portfolio company of impact private equity fund Vidia Equity, in connection with the acquisition of a leading plastics recycling and secondary raw materials trading group including PB Solutions GmbH and ATP Service & Consulting GmbH.

GLNS advised VidaPet Group GmbH on the acquisition of NutraPet and NutraSnack (‘NutraPet’), two companies specialising in pet food.
